Similar to Toy Watches, but $60 less

I have some friends who are really into the plastic "Toy" brand watches. They're colorful and very trendy. I compared them to this Rave watch and had a hard time telling the difference in quality.

What I like about both brands is that they're very light and feel comfortable on your wrist. I asked one of the employees at Precision Time about Rave and Toy watches. They said they actually get customers coming in to buy Rave watches just to replace links from their Toy watches. That's how close they are.

Customers will buy the Raves though because it's less to buy the actual Rave watch than to get the links replaced. Plus, they get another watch they can wear or give as a gift.

If you like the Toy watch look and feel, I say save yourself the money and go with a Rave instead. Or buy 3-4 Raves for the same price. (Posted on 10/15/09)
