When it comes to appearance, no one likes having pimples. A blind pimple develops beneath the skin, as such, it is not visible from a distance, but one can feel it by running their fingers over the skin’s surface. Use A Warm Compress

The heat from applying a warm compress on the blind pimple can open pores. When the pores are opened, the pimple forms a “head” which gives way for the dirt and sebum to leave the skin. Soak a clean cloth in hot water and press it on the blind pimple for about fifteen minutes. Repeat this at least thrice a day. The area should be kept clean, and you should avoid applying makeup until it is fully healed.

Try An Acne Dot/ Pimple Sticker

These are tiny stickers that can be placed over the pimple and usually contain ingredients like salicylic acid useful in treating acne. These stickers work by drawing out oil and dirt and reducing inflammation. You can wear them at any time of the day, but need to change the sticker after 24 hours.

Use Other Acne Treatment Methods

You may consider other products which are useful in treating acne, if the above methods do not work for you. They include benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, retinoids, and alpha-hydroxy acids.

What Are The Preventive Measures?

Blind pimples may catch you unawares, but there are measures you can take to prevent them from occurring. You may think that your skin needs to be roughly scrubbed to get rid of the oil, but this will only do more harm than good. Be gentle when cleaning your skin and only use gentle products which do not irritate the skin. You should also change your pillowcase often since bacteria, and dead skin can accumulate in the fabric and block your pores. Dealing with a blind pimple can be frustrating.
